I recommend this over other custom button products because it tends to be cheaper per button, the process is easier for me to understand, and you have more options for what to put on your buttons. Very pleased I recently ordered 60 of the 2.25 pins and I was VERY pleased with the product. During the process of me trying to figure out what I wanted, I did a live chat and I ended up calling too and the customer service was great!!! The only "negative" that I would say is the increments in which you have to order. I needed 60 pins and the highest I could order was 50 and then I had to do another order of 10. One of the buttons were opened and the acetate the popping out due to it not being pressed properly. Another problem I have is that several of my buttons had large scratches all across them. There were specks as well underneath the acetate of a few that I couldn't consider passable enough to sell. 80% of my buttons are fine, but I am still frustrated at these issues. Great Quality and Turnaround! So I ordered these for a time sensitive event, and I had designed these myself beforehand. I had ordered the help and proof option for last second changes I might want to make, and I'm glad I did! I placed my original order on a Friday, I got my first proof on Sunday, then I requested some simple changes. Got my second proof on a Monday and it began production. By the end of Tuesday my order was shipped! I had chose UPS 2nd day Air because of these buttons being time sensitive, and I got them Thursday with 2 days to spare! The turnaround and service was great, however some of the pin backs on the buttons came undone and scratched up some of the buttons as they shipped which is not Purebuttons fault. Cheaper and faster than making them yourself I could not believe that 15 hours after ordering i got an email that my buttons had shipped. I know some community groups that have button makers and was looking up ordering button parts when I discovered that I could order the buttons printed and shipped for less $$ than buying the parts from a major supplier. Not the Buttons from Grade School I was hoping my buttons wouldn't be like the buttons from back in the day - you know, those buttons that were given out in grade school by the teacher with the button machine. I cringed at the thought of receiving buttons printed on flimsy, dull paper with a plastic circle slapped on top. But, nope, that's not what I received. 2.25 Round Buttons We have used Pure Buttons for many years to print campaign pins for a variety of candidates. This year we printed some new 2.25 buttons for a candidate that had used another vendor in his previous election. The difference between those buttons and the ones from Pure Buttons was incredible. Great quality, but don't use the staff help I ordered the pins with the matte finish - they're great for my needs. We use a sharpie to write the pins before wearing them. The matte finish works very well for this and the ink doesn't rub off. Gave it 4 stars because the last time I ordered, I paid for the staff to review my design and make sure it was OK. However, despite working with the staff, the words on the rim were facing the wrong direction. For my second order, I didn't use the help and it came out correctly. Guess I just should have not asked for the help from the get-go! Also, in this most recent order, of the 300 pins I ordered, only one had an issue - looks like it didn't completely seal. Extremely fast production, easy to use site I found PureButtons on the Internet randomly and decided to use them because of their low price, easy-to-use site, and fast, inexpensive shipping. Production was extremely (!) fast even during the holidays. The templates I sent for my custom buttons were too low-quality and too pixelated to use, but a customer service staff member quickly let me know. Changing the file type and resending the templates did not delay production at all thanks to her fast work. The buttons look good and seem durable. Round Custom Button I ordered custom buttons, size 2.25" The art department was kind and told me I needed to redo what I sent because my design was for a smaller size button. The buttons were shipped in a very timely manner and are really very good. It is a great value. My only disappointment is that I had hoped the art department would have informed me that the wording on the bottom line of the button was too small to see, once printed. To Recommend or Not to Recommend Counting the days until my pins were needed, I placed an order, 3 day rush with standard USPS Priority 1-3 day shipping, and if all went to plan these pins would come just barely in time. However, they did not. These pins came in three days, five days sooner than I estimated (using the longer estimated time since this is often when companies send). I tried to place another order, different size different picture, they came in the same timely fashion, with a one day turnaround (but still in rush que) just in time for my convention. This pins are of good quality, and the templates worked perfectly. I never review anything because I feel it's a waste of my time, but these pins and the service warranted it. The one reason I wouldn't recommend is that once they gain traction the turnaround may suffer, however this company deserves my patronage and recommendation, and I will continue to use and turn people to their service.
