The card / code is saved in the account of the original purchaser and can be accessed at any time by the owner of the account by visiting My Account > Order History
Gift Card recipients are usually emailed a copy of the card details after the card is purchased. You must consult this email or ask the original purchaser to resend you the card by visiting the order details page for the Gift Card purchase.
