Color was not as advertised The quality of the buttons are good, but the color was very different that what was on the website. When designing on screen it is important to know that due to calibration differences, on-screen color can sometimes shift from what is printed due to a variety of reasons. We recommend using the suggested color swatches when designing in our customizer tool. These have been tested to produce relatively similar colors when printed. RGB screens can produce more bright neon colors than CMYK printing can produce, so it is important to stay away from the brightest end of the spectrum. The PureButtons Team

thought set up was easy but... I watched the tutorial videos and created my buttons but in the end the words I thought were along the edge on the front are literally on the edge and can't be read. I'm not sure what I did wrong but I was disappointed when my buttons arrived. Luckily the picture on them is cute and I will still use them even if they aren't what I had hoped for. Other than that, the turnaround time for getting buttons printed is fast. The editor is a plus that ensured what my button would look like once created with all the margins accounted for. On a side note, the picture alignment to the button was slightly off on a majority of the buttons by 1/64th of an inch. This is not a deal breaker for me, seeing as the cost is fair for what you get, but it is noticeable if you're a perfectionist. Great for dental professionals! Everyone I work with wants a face photo button after seeing mine. Now That dental and healthcare is wearing PPE covering their face I find that I want my patients to see my face, especially if it’s the first time meeting them! Rim text cool but confusing The Customer Service "Chat" feature was never available while I was in the process of creating/ordering, so I ended up just using the online design tool (instead of their downloadable templates), which was really a pretty great tool. I included rim text on my design, which, according to the look of the design tool, should logically have printed with the wrapped-behind orientation I wanted, but my order showed up with it facing the opposite direction! The online instructions for rim text were not clear and the online proof they showed me had it facing the "correct" direction that I wanted. Amazing! Originally I was trying to make my own with a cheap button making machine. Too frustrating and too much waste. I contemplated buying a new, higher priced machine BUT, after finding PureButtons website, I discovered they could make my buttons for a much better price than if I did them myself! quick but,,, it was really quick, and the printing quality was OK, BUT the pin direction is all over the place. It would work the best if your design is non-directional. But mine had to be one way, so the pin in the back is straight across, up & down, diagonal, etc etc etc. It's a bit pain in the butt to pin them if you want the design to show straight. Hello! Thanks for ordering :-) Our 1" Round Buttons feature a free-floating pin back. This is the only button size we offer that has this feature. What you can do is pin it how you like, then twist the button face into position. Hope this helps! Sorry for any confusion.

Be careful on size Placed an order for custom buttons for an upcoming show. The "Suggested" size and one of the best sellers was 1.25". Pricing was excellent, processing and shipping was quick and I had the order delivered within a week. However, I wish I could have seen the actual product in a finished size prior to placing the order. Don't get me wrong, they came out exactly how it was placed, but the font is so small it's just about impossible to read the wording. Wonderful quality and super fast shipping I did a test order of buttons with Pure Buttons and I am so glad I did... the quality is excellent, the buttons came less than a week after I ordered. DESIGN NOTE: I strongly recommend downloading their templates... they are hugely helpful. One thing I did learn (and why I ordered a very reasonably-priced sample first), is that any text that is on the rim of the button actually slopes inward (I was picturing it as rounder, rather than an inward slope), and is only readable if you hold the button up. They were beautiful and it completely blew my mind! My apologies. Quite a few of the 1.5" buttons I ordered are misaligned with the pin in the back (not a huge deal since they can just be pinned in a different direction, but I didn't notice this with any of the 1.25" buttons I ordered). Also, one of the buttons in the batch came undone; the print popped out from the pressed button. I tried to show everything in the attached photo; the two right most are perfect buttons, while the top one is undone and the held ones have misaligned pins. Pins have a hard coating that keep them secure, the safety pins on the back are good quality and don't fall off my bag, and are big enough to pin to thicker fabrics. The Right Size For Your Design Have used Pure Buttons before and have had mixed results due to try to get too much detail on too small a button. Moving up in size wast the right adjustment for the amount of detail one finds on an LP cover, but the 1" size is undeniably very effective with the right art. You'll have to use larger type and less of it, but sometimes less is more. As for the quality of the button and the service, you won't beat Pure Buttons. They are professional and timely. Fantastic customer service and great end product I accidentally used a 2.25 inch template instead of the 2.5 inch, and was contacted immediately by a PureButtons designer who noticed this little detail.
